Hello, my name is Anna.
I live in Hamburg and I'm 20 years old. I'm studying literature and if I had to find one word to describe myself, it would be: books. Ever since I was a little girl, I have loved to sit down in a quiet place with a book in my hand and immerse myself in the stories of the book.
Since my friends and family know me well, I always received books from everyone for every birthday and I was happy. But one day, a particularly good friend gave me a Diamond Painting Set for my birthday. I didn't know what it was at first, so I unwrapped it and was amazed to see that the motif was a picture from my favorite book.
It wasn't a book, but I was delighted with this great idea.
I was never particularly artistic, but it seemed like I didn't have to be!
Diamond Painting was surprisingly easy and relaxing. There was no frustration because it was too complicated and I didn't have to worry that, although I tried hard, I wouldn't be happy with the end result.
It didn't take long and after a few days I was finished with my "diamond painting". I proudly hung it on the wall and put the remains of the kit in one of my drawers.
It was a little stressful at first.
I wasn't sure if I was doing it right, but after a while it went really well and I relaxed. And now I've actually made my own Diamond Painting bookmark!
Whenever I'm out and about now and reading outside, I'm always asked where I got my bookmark from. It feels so good to say that I made it myself :)
A few days later, I lost my favorite bookmark that I always used while reading.
But my disappointment didn't last long. While surfing the internet, I happened to come across pictures of bookmarks made with Diamond Painting.
Wait, I thought, and quickly looked in the drawer. I still had a few stones left and they were waiting to be used!
I took them all out and started thinking about the design of my bookmark. I decided on a simple flower as I didn't know how difficult it would be. I grabbed the supplies I needed and with the help of a tutorial, I got started.
