In recent years, more and more AI-generated images have appeared on the market—including in the field of diamond painting. With the help of modern image generators, any user can create countless designs in just a few seconds. What is often overlooked is that AI models have been trained using vast quantities of pre-existing images and works of art. Without the creativity and works of real artists, these systems would not be capable of generating such images. In some cases, works were used for training without the artists having explicitly consented to such use.

Aesthetics is not the same as art

AI-generated images can be very aesthetically pleasing because algorithms recognize and combine patterns that people often find particularly appealing—such as harmonious colors, symmetry, or balanced compositions.
